Christopher Zebo

In 2009, I sold all of my belongings on Craigslist, transformed a Honda Element into a bed on wheels, and explored the entire country for 4 months. After 17,000 miles of road, I ran out of gas in Texas.

I have a master's from Boston College, and before picking up a camera, I was editor-in-chief and features writer for an arts and entertainment publication. I'm also a professional salsa dancer and own a small entertainment company. When I'm not working on a million projects, I'm working on a million projects.

My clients include everyone from Uber to the State of Texas, Qantas Airlines to Airbnb. I've shot everything from billboards for Toyota North America to cactus gardens for Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine. My work has been featured in prominent national magazines, from Southern Living to Men’s Journal. I love to work--and the more challenging the assignments, the better.

Gear

I shoot with Sony A7R3 and Canon Mark 4 camera bodies, and for aerials I'm flying a DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

For lenses, Canon L lenses, a Sigma 70-200mm telephoto, a Tokina 100mm macro, and many more specialty lenses depending on a client’s needs.

For studio work, product shoots, and outdoor production I use a full suite of Godox strobes and monolights.

Software

Editing photos is just as fun as being behind camera. For post-processing, I use Photoshop, Lightroom, the Topaz Labs Suite, the Nik Collection, and Alien Skin's Exposure.
